Hand stamping is an art and will not look like machine engraved pieces. It is a process that involves striking a metal hammer on top of a steel stamp. Each strike creates a single letter or design. Each letter will not always be straight, even or the same depth as the other letters. Even though the artist strives for perfection, slight variations in depth of strike and placement of letter is what makes the art of hand stamping so unique and beautiful.
